About 2000 years ago, Avenches (called Aventicum back then) was the Roman capital of Switzerland. Since then, musicians have replaced gladiators in its stunning amphitheatre. For over eighteen years now, this unique site rumbles with the applause of about 30'000 music lovers who gather each year to the Rock Oz'Arènes festival. Status Quo, Monster Magnet, Placebo, Gotan Project, Christophe Maé, Axelle Red, Florent Pagny and Goldfrapp are the headliners of the 19th edition of this festival that will take place from Wednesday, August 11th until Saturday, August 14th.
