From 7 -11 September 2011, Berlin Music Week opened its doors to music professionals and fans from all over the world. The programme centre was the decommissioned Tempelhof Airport, where the main events included Popkomm (market place), all2gethernow (conference) and Berlin Festival. Special club nights, live presentations and sector-specific events took place across the city.

Berlin Music Week offers an cutting-edge new platform for the music industry, which promises to become an unmissable event in the international music calendar. Already in its first year it was a week packed with creativity, innovation and broken records. In the clubs, on the Spree, on the streets, in the airport; for seven days the city pulsed with music. 2011 will see the city transformed into a music metropolis once again with the 2nd Berlin Music Week from 7-11 September.

Berlin Music Week is a collaborative event of Popkomm, all2gethernow, Berlin Festival, Berlin Music Commission, Clubcommission Berlin with Kulturprojekte Berlin.
