Dekmantel Festival
Wann: 30.07. - 02.08.2015
Wo: 1017 Amsterdam (Holland)
Genre: Electronic, Techno, House, Tech House, IDM, Ambient, Acid House ...
The heart of Dekmantel Festival beats at the Amsterdamse Bos. What's new is that our veins will be spreading off the wall music throughout the entire Dutch capital this summer. It is our goal to take an extra step towards perfection with each new edition. By adding two new festival locations to the program, we can offer you a wider range of some of the biggest leftfield names in electronic music, as well as a larger draft of adventurous contemporary frontrunners and local heroes who are equally capable of giving you the best festival experience possible, both outdoor and indoor.
Dekmantel Festival 2015 = Amsterdamse Bos + Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ + Melkweg.
Having that said, here's a promise: Dekmantel Festival will remain the intimate and small-scaled event that fits us like a glove. We still believe in building an event by investing in quality instead of quantity. We are not aiming for bigger crowds, we are only scattering the music.
So what to expect? A lot. For starters, the line-up bills way more artists in comparison to last year. Outspoken live acts and DJs who are all calling the shots in their own niches. The kick-off will be on Thursday - yup, that's right, +1 day - at the awe-inspiring Muziekgebouw, a concert hall that sits majestically on the banks of the Amsterdam river 't IJ. Last but not least, we will serve up an extensive night program at the Melkweg on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Welcome to Dekmantel Festival 2015.
