Our festival family has grown again. In the new year, the altogether 13th edition of our Smooth Jazz Festival series takes us to a new place in a new country - a country known for good food, good wine, fashion, summer, sun, sunshine - a country known for La Dolce Vita: Italy.
The 3rd in the league of our annual festivals is from now on going to take place there, more precisely at the picturesque Lake Maggiore. The second largest lake in Italy is located in the wine region of Piemonte and is just within a stone's throw of Lake Como, where amongst others George Clooney owns a house. Venue for our festival is the Grand Hotel Dino in Baveno. The exclusive bathing and holiday resort Baveno, which is situated about 45 minutes north of the fashion metropolis Milan, is surrounded by picturesque mountains. It has retained the glamour of the 60s and the charm of Art Nouveau. The hotel itself is nestled in a beautiful natural setting with century-old trees in the parks, pools, and the breathtaking panorama of the Borromean Islands. The spacious complex extends directly to the lake shore and has a private boat jetty.
On stage, we welcome some of the biggest and most successful international stars of the Contemporary and Smooth Jazz scene. The live concerts take place on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening and on Sunday forenoon until afternoon.
