Als größtes stadtweites Musikfestival in Europa bringt es mehr als 100.000 Zuschauer bei mehr als 300 Live-Konzerten an Veranstaltungsorten in der ganzen Stadt zusammen. Von Jazzbars bis hin zu den besten Konzertsälen der Welt. Das Festival ist der Höhepunkt des Jazzkalenders im Vereinigten Königreich und bietet seit langem ein breit gefächertes Programm mit Musikern aus der ganzen Welt.
Das Festival wurde 1992 von Serious ins Leben gerufen und feiert 2024 seine 32. Auflage. Die Ziele des Festivals sind den Jazz und seinen Platz in London zu feiern, Künstlern eine Plattform für ihre Arbeit zu geben und Musikorte in der Hauptstadt zum Leben zu erwecken.Every November, the EFG London Jazz Festival takes over the city, with a diverse line-up showcasing global stars and emerging talent.

The festival was created in 1992 by live music producers Serious and celebrates its thirty-second iteration in 2024.
